5 Days Trip To Chefchaouen: Tangier tour
Tangier tour, full-Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen ( Tangier tour)
Our Tangier tour will start with a drive past Tetouan and across the Rif Mountains. We will take a break at the base of the Rif mountains in Chefchaouan so that you can fully absorb the breathtaking panorama. Chefchaouen’s medina, which was once a part of “Spanish Morocco,” has a strong Spanish aesthetic influence, and its city center is encircled by vibrant artisan stores. It also boasts a number of terrace cafes and restaurants, which are also available in the riads, where you may spend the rest of the evening while taking in the beautiful scenery and strong wind.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
We continue on the Tangier tour to Volubilis after a filling breakfast, going via Ouazan and other Rif towns. To view the Roman ruins and discover Moroccan heritage, we’ll travel to Volubilis. We will stop for lunch en route to Meknes, where we will also explore Bab el Mansour, the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, and the historic walls of the medina. We will depart later in the day for Fes, where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Fes Sightseeing
Full-day on this Tangier tour is dedicated to the ancient city of Fes. We will start the day by wandering through the alleyways and congested streets of the oldest city in Morocco. Starting at the gate to the Royal Palace, we will continue to the Jewish headquarters, where the first Mellah was founded in Morocco in the 16th century. We will see to it that you explore all significant archaeological and historical sites, including the esteemed Al Qaraouine University, the oldest institution in the area. Additionally, stops will be made at the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit a number of cooperatives while taking in a breathtakingly beautiful vista of Fes’ Medina.
Day 4: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca
The Go-To Merzouga team has planned this tangier tour with a lot of care to let your experience in Morocco a memorable one. Fes is separated into three unique neighborhoods: Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has over 9000 winding streets and alleys protected by a thick wall; Fes-Jdid, which is where the Jewish neighborhood lies; and the “Ville Nouvelle” (the newest sector of Fez constructed during the French occupation). Later in the day, after arriving in Rabat, we’ll go to Casablanca.
