5 Days Tour FROM MARRAKECH To Morocco Sahara Desert

Itinerary of the 5 days tour from Marrakech:

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades valley

We will our 5 days tour from Marrakech and go over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) to the village of Ait Benhaddou, a walled ksar with stunning Kasbahs. Many film producers have used Ait Benhaddou as natural scenery. We will travel to Dades after lunch via Ouarzazate, the Skoura palm grove, and Dades valley, where we will spend the first night.

Day 2: Dades valley – Todra gorge – Merzouga

Continuing our 5 days tour from Marrakech after breakfast, we will carry on with our trek over the Sahara desert, along the road that winds through vibrant Berber communities in order to reach Tineghir and its lovely palm grove. We will keep going to the Gorge of Todra, a popular destination for mountain climbers, where we will hike along canyons that are around 300 meters high. After that, we’ll travel to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga and spend the night there.

Day 3: Merzouga Sightseeing Tour and Camel Ride

Following breakfast, you will travel a considerable distance through the Merzouga dunes, the wandering deposit, the Gnaoua village, the MIFISS mines, the dessert plates, and the meeting of the Berber nomads of the desert. In the late afternoon, you will ride a camel for one and a half hours as you approach the camp in the oasis and witness the setting sun. a night spent in a bivouac of nomadic tents amid the Merzouga Sahara dune system.

Day 4: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

You can watch the sunrise over the dunes after spending a peaceful and memorable night in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We then ride back to the hotel with the camels for breakfast and a shower, and from there, we head to Rissani to explore the nearby tourist attractions, such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove. After lunch, travel across the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Dinner and sleeping at the Ouarzazate hotel.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Telouet – The Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll proceed on to Marrakech, stopping along the way to explore the Kasbah el Glaoui and the picturesque High Atlas Berber village of Telouet. End of your 5 days tour from Marrakech.
