Itinerary of 5 days tour from Fes:

Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Rissani – Merzouga

The first round of our 5 days tour from Fes is a drive into the Atlas Mountains with a stop in the village of Ifrane, where we’ll get the opportunity to see the well-known cedar forest, which is home to the Berber apes. After that, we’ll continue on to Midelt via the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, where we can pause for photos and some fresh mint tea. After that, we travel on to Merzouga, where we’ll have dinner and spend the night at a local Riad to cap off the day.

Day 2: Merzouga desert tour and camel trekking

The desert area near the Erg Chebbi sand dunes will be the focus of our exploration today. You’ll get the chance to witness the nomads’ way of life and the stunning contrast of the desert. On our trip, we’ll stop in Khamlia, a black village, where we’ll enjoy some Gnawa music. In the historical capital of Rissani, for lunch, we’ll savor a classic Berber pizza. After watching the sunset over the sand dunes in the late afternoon, we’ll ride on camelback to the desert camp where we’ll spend the night. We will enjoy a classic Tagine dinner, savor some delectable local mint tea, and enjoy some classical Berber songs while sitting around a campfire in the breathtaking Sahara desert and watching the stars and the rising moon.

Day 3: Merzouga – Dades Gorges

On the third day of your 5 days tour from Fes and before leaving for Ouarzazate, we’ll wake up and travel to a nearby hotel where you can get ready and eat a nice breakfast. We’ll stop in Berber settlements en route to The Todra and Dades Gorges. We’ll make a halt at a nearby hotel at the Dades Gorge where we’ll stay the night and receive a free dinner.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

Following breakfast, we’ll continue our 5 days tour from Fes toward Ouarzazate through the Route des Mille Kasbahs (fortresses), stopping in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, which is well-known for its yearly Rose Festival.
Our next stop is the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco World Heritage site that has served as a filming location for numerous Hollywood productions, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the renowned HBO series Game of Thrones.
The next day, we’ll go to Marrakesh via the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass and spend the night there at a modest hotel.

Day 5: Marrakech guided tour

Marrakesh will be the location on this day. The prominent sights of the city, such as the well-known Jamma el-Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, the souk, the Royal Palace, and a few museums, will be explored by you. Before terminating our tour at your hotel or airport, we’ll also discover Gueliz, a more contemporary area of the city, which includes the Menara Gardens and Marjolle.
