4 Days Tour FROM MARRAKECH To Fes Via Sahara Desert

Itinerary of 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes via Mrrzouga:

DAY 1: MARRAKESH – TIZI-N-TICHKA PASS – OUARZAZATE – DADES GORGE

As we wind across the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to the Unesco World Heritage Site, your private tour begins with a panorama of the Atlas Mountains. The historical landmark of Ait Ben Haddou was made popular by films like Gladiator and the well-known HBO series Game of Thrones. The next stop is Ouarzazate, where we’ll see the Atlas Film Studios and a Kasbah. From Marrakech, we’ll continue our journey to the Valley of the Roses, which is renowned for hosting the annual Festival of Roses. We’ll stay the night in Dades Gorge at a nearby hotel, where you can choose to receive a free dinner.

DAY 2: DADES GORGE – TODRA GORGE – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT

After seeing Todra Gorge, a vibrant, confined canyon well-known to outdoor enthusiasts, we’ll continue our journey by 4×4. We’ll keep going through the Ziz Valley until we get to Erfoud, an oasis hamlet that serves as the entrance to the Sahara desert and is renowned for its distinctive fossils. There is a nearby factory that manufactures fossil-based crafts and home décor, as well as a local shop where you may buy such goods as mementos.
Then, after visiting the neighborhood souk in Rissani, we’ll continue driving into the desert until we reach Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night in a nearby riad (hotel).

DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT

We will spend today touring the Merzouga Desert. With the choice of going camel trekking or touring in the comfort of a 4×4, you’ll have the opportunity to “do your own thing.” We’ll also go to Khamlia village, which is well-known for its folk music. We simply can’t pass up the chance to enjoy the Sahara desert’s baffling sunset behind the dunes. Native songs and unique Berber cuisine will finish off our evening as we gather around a campfire.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – MIDELT – FES

To catch the sunrise, we’ll get an early start, travel to our accommodation on camelback, and then return. We’ll leave the hotel after breakfast and drive past Rissani and Erfoud before stopping for lunch in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains. After that, our private 5 days tour from Marrakech will stop when we get to Fes.
