3 Days Tour From Fes To Sahara Desert Via Middle Atlas

Itinerary of the 3 days tour from Fes:

Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

The first round of our 3 days tour from Fes is a drive into the Atlas Mountains with a stop in the village of Ifrane, where we’ll get the opportunity to see the well-known evergreen forest, which is home to the Berber apes. After that, we’ll proceed on to Midelt via the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, where we can pause for photos and some fresh mint tea.

We continue via the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and the oasis of Rissani. After we get there, we spend the night in a locally owned riad.

Day 2: Merzouga desert tour

Today, we’ll tour the area around the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in the desert. You’ll get a chance to see how Bedouin lives and the stunning contrast of the desert. The Gnawa music will be enjoyed when we travel to the ebony village of Khamlia. We’ll enjoy a typical Berber pizza for lunch in the historic city of Rissani. We’ll go over the sand dunes on camels in the late afternoon, and then stay the night in a camp in the wilderness. Desert will make your 3 days tour from Fes an extraordinary one.

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Fez

We take a drive back to Fes after breakfast. We’ll pause to take a stroll at Azrou’s woodland resort, where (with any luck) we could get to see some wild monkeys. We’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, a town well-known for its minerals, before wrapping out our three-day tour from Fes.

The cost of this desert tour varies with the number of participants; to get an offer for your trip, fill out the registration form or get in touch with us.
