2 Days Tour From Fes To The Dunes Of Merzouga Desert

Itinerary of the 2 days tour from Fes:

Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our exclusive 2 days tour from Fes to the desert of Merzouga starts with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains, where we’ll hold back to see the villages of Azrou and Ifrane. There, we’ll get the opportunity to wander through the well-known cedar forest, which is the habitat for the Berber monkeys.
From there, we’ll proceed to Midelt, passing through the Ziz Gorge and the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass (here we can stop for pictures and some local mint tea).
After that, we’ll pass through the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani before arriving at the lake that serves as a prelude to the Sahara desert. At the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, we will exchange the 44 for camels (optional) and ride them to our campground. When we get there, we’ll get a free cultural dinner and sit around a bonfire to listen to music while the desert sky is lit by stars and the moon.

Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Fez

On your final morning, we’ll rise up early to capture the sunrise over the sandy beaches. From there, we can take a camel (optional) to the settlement and have a breakfast buffet in a hotel. Then we will stop once more on the way to Rissani and Erfoud before proceeding on to Ifrane and ultimately Fez. End of the 2 days tour from Fes to the desert of Merzouga.
